New 1899/99 acquisitions

[Savager1899]

New to Savages. Picked up a first year 1899 250-3000 made in 1914 TD, pg, 22” bl checkering, 99H bl band carbine 20” bl 30-30 made in 1934, and a 99F TD 22” bl feather weight, 303 made in 1928.
Have primarily been a Winchester collector but really liking these Savages. Will post photos soon.

Awesome, looking forward to the pics. My oldest Savage (Stevens) is a crack shot .22. Made in 1918.

Third one down is a solid frame 22 Hi-P prob 98% condition.

Absent from the set is this one below. Pre-war 300 G made in 1940.

That is a very nice set of the Savage calibers + 30-30. Are you aiming for the other early calibers; 25-35-32-40, and 38-55? Maybe I missed some.

Thank you and no I have a substantial Winchester collection also and really just wanted to acquire Savage 1899 rifles in Savage cartridges although the barrel band carbine is 30-30 Winchester.
