Why is it so hard to find a quality scope rail for a flat back, pre accu trigger LA110?? Looking at the website, Leopold doesnt make one at all.

I’ve had both. The Talley is much higher quality. Not only is the EGW rail thinner, but it’s made from the lesser 6061 Aluminum. Look a spec sheet on 6061 vs 7075. Huge difference in strength & yield. They make HD rails, but only for the round back 110’s.

Warne also makes one for the 110 Flat-Back, but it’s also made of the weaker 6061 Aluminum.

I’ve researched every option extensively. The absolute best Scope Rail available is the Murphy Precision. They make one in Stainless Steel & the absolute best one, in Titanium. However, it’s $234, which is simply more than I will spend on a scope rail. And so, the Talley, made of the incredibly strong 7075 Aluminum is the next best option.
