110 Trail Hunter magazines?

I have been searching the web for a magazine for a new Savage 110 Trail Hunter in 30-06. It's got the green hogue over molded stock. The magazine are plastic.

I cannot find them anywhere. I haven't reached out to Savage yet, but I have looked on their website.

Does anyone know of a regular 110 magazine will work with the Trail hunter?

I believe the Trail Hunter has a new kind of latch. It's best described as a plunger at the front of the mag base plate.

I think most Savage magazines are modular. The box and base plate can be changed out. You might be able to change out the base plate on an older mag.

Hmm... I didn't know they were modular. I do not like the fact that my magazine is entirely plastic...

The bottom cap is the same as an Axis. They just recently went with the all plastic box, but the metal box variety will work just the same.

I haven't tested it, but was told that the plastic box has one more round capacity than the metal box.
