For now I bought a barrel for my TC Pro hunter.
I only have bullets I've used for .243.
Leftover hot core 80 gr , HDY 100 gr SP and Sierra pro hunter 100gr.
With my results I'm thinking it needs the longer premium bullets it was intended for. I'm not ready to spend that on this .243 short.
So others results are interesting.
Had a barrel and no brass for a long time. That's why snatch and grab shopping isn't wise.

Hornady and Hodgdon both have online load data for the 6ARC. Have been reading some are having good luck running lighter bullets. Best I can suggest is find a load with the bullets and powders you have and try them.

I've tried 87gr VMAX with mixed results. Also, some 95gr Bergers but not enough to get any real data on.

have a gasser but plan to get a bolt gun. im gonna run 90gr ABs.
i would suggest picking 1 bullet and then find an accurate powder and run with it.

Weirdly, Wifezilla's 6mm ARC like the 85 grain Partitions, I've never had that bullet be the most accurate in any of my 243's. She only uses it for deer season so that's fine with me.

My 6mm ARC seems to prefer the 75 grain Hornady V-Max and the 90 grain ELD-X so far in limited testing but I haven't tried any heavy bullets yet. I've got mine on my night time coyote rig where I'll be shooting less than 200 yards so I don't think it really matters which of these that I shoot.
