Good news!

That said, I wouldn't run out and start trying to buy suppressors or build SBS's or SBR's without doing the paperwork and background check just yet as the DOJ hasn't weighed in on this decision. I'm actually kind of surprised there's no mention of the judge putting a short term stay on the decision pending an appeal to the Supreme Court, but it could still happen.

Right now, it looks like it only applies in the 5th Circuit and only to the involved parties. We will have to see when the final order is issued and the decision is published. But usually the order gives enough time for the DOJ to appeal to the Circuit Court of Appeals.

Lots of legal hoops to jump through first. However, it’s step in the right direction. For those interested in a suppressor or SBR anyway. Personally, I don’t care about either.

I am actually more interested in the 50-State National Reciprocity Bill, HR38. It actually has some teeth thanks to Bruen. Chicago Illinois where handguns weren’t even sold, now MUST sell them! The ban on high capacity magazines has been found unconstitutional, as well as the super-scary things that make guns more deadly (apparantly), being outlawed. Like pistol grips & Collapsable butt stocks! Next 2 years are going to be interesting.
