Like the title states..

I went out and bought this old 90s riot Savage 69rxl Series E or E series for hardly nothing and well... i got a few parts in carts but want to verify if the stevens 67 synthetic grip fit on the 69rxl?

I love the riot handle but im looking to rock this as a genuine home defense. The stevens 67 is close enough right?

Wow I've never seen one set up like that. I worked in a gun shop for awhile in the late 80's and these were always on the used rack. Wood stock and round (corn cob) forend. The only drawbacks were the single action bar and especially the shell retainer. That made combat reloads difficult. It was very popular with LE due to the low unit cost but eventually as tactics for reloads changed most depts traded them for 870s or even 500s. For a home defense gun though it should do well. I still see them now and then at my LGS's I frequent. If I come across one in good shape I wouldn't mind having it in my collection just to have it. I prefer the wood stock/forend...but then hey I'm a retired boomer type...;)

Looking good. I'm sure you'll have more now that you've started on Savage.
