Very nice looking rig.
I see you fitted your Savage to an Oryx chassis.
I have four of my Savage 110s ( 2-308s, 1-6.5mm CM, and 1-.22-250 in Oryx Chassis, and 1- .223 in a MDT LSS).
They have all improved my group averages over the factory stocks.

I’ve shared a good bit of back & forth Tom Dobbie, the owner of Lumley. He’s an impressive machinist. I’m using the Lumley Titanium Bolt, Bolt Sleeve & BAS. My entire Bolt assembly is so light, it’s crazy! I also use the Bolt head components from them. I passed his contact info to leadership here. I do hope Lumley becomes a sponsor here. Along with Lance’s team at Gunshack. Those two are my go to’s for the basic DIY parts. Other small parts I machine myself. Usually from Titanium.

New Shilen barrel came in today for the Savage project I have been working on. Now have barrel for heavier bullets and this on for the lighter. Happy Camper. Whatta Hobby!

72 deg with a very light breeze. Had to start off the precision rifle for the April session. Savage 110 .308 in MDT chassis, X-caliber 26" 1/10 barrel. Scope is March Majesta. Ammo handloaded 110 Sierra in new Lapua brass over 46 gn of Varget. Shot off front rest and rear bag. Fire forming on new brass is a real Hoot. 100-8x. Whatta Hobby!

Try Berger 155gr VLDs and 43.gr VV140 set at .040 off the lands. Either Laupa or Remington brass, Fereral 210M primer. Shoots tiny one hole groups at 100yards and under 2.5 inches at 600yards. The Berger 155.5 Fullbore shoot just the same. Shot with Shilen 26" 1 in 12 twist. I believe the 1 in 10 will do the same thing.

I never have tried the Hybrids. The other 2 shoot so great I just don't see a need.

Can't say I ever shot Berger bullets in any caliber that didn't shoot great.
A bit pricey, but worth it. if you are a nut for accuracy like I am.

I don't think they are pricey. Now Nosler ballistic tips are way more expensive than Berger's as they only have 50 in a box not a 100 when figure the price per 100.

Pricey, check out Lapua X-Act 22 rf. Been shooting it for a couple of years and that stuff is pricey, but accurate. Whatta Hobby!

Most accurate .22LR ammo I have ever shot.
My best rifles maintain .6 inch 5-round groups at 100 yards.

But I buy Center-X by the case. It is a whole lot cheaper.

No fooling. Center-x runs just under half the price of X-ACT. I shoot anything I can get my hands on. My 457 loves Eley Tenex but I shoot Norma, Remington , SK and CCI just for the halibut. Never get enough practice, as you know. Whatta Hobby!

I've got 2 of 7 target .22LRs that really like Tenex. Tenex seems to need tight chambers. I guess because they test lots with 6 Anshutz barrels.
All of my 7 shoot Lapua accurately but 5 don't shoot Tenex all that well. I guess the chambers aren't tight enough.
