I love shooting precision 22's, and I've wanted a Kimber 82G for a while but they are usually priced crazy. I came across a nice one on Gunbroker today and noticed that it is here in Texas. I contacted the seller since the auction was ending today to see if the seller would be willing to meet me FTF to sell me the rifle.
He told me that he would, so we are meeting up tomorrow for the transaction. I can't wait!
I'll post some pics when I get it.

Yeah, those are always priced higher than they seem worth to me.. it’s odd. Hmm, those actually remind me of the Piston driven .177 Airguns from the 90’s. 😂

Good for you, scoring on a wanted bid.👍
I really like Gunbroker. That’s where I got the Savage 10 for my current rig. Back when used Savages could be picked up for under $300.

I've bought and sold on Gunbroker for many years. Sometimes, you can run across a great deal, but most of the stuff is way overpriced. I've never paid over $350 for any used Savage. You can't find them for those prices anymore!

Nope. I got my last one for $270. Haven’t seen that since. Any in the future will be bare Actions.

Never sold on Gunbroker but I’m on there frequently keeping tabs on my prices.

I met the seller today and picked up the Kimber 82 Government 22lr. He got it from the CMP last year and had never shot it. The CMP tags were still on the trigger guard, along with all of the CMP paperwork. The stock has a few scratches and dings on it, but other than that the rifle looks great.
Once home, I removed the open sights and mounted a spare 6-24x50 scope on it. Then bore sighted it, and after cleaning the bore and lubricating the bolt, I test fired 5 round of SK Standard through it. The wind was blowing too much to try shooting any groups with it.
The trigger broke at a clean 3lbs. It can probably be adjusted down a little but if it shoots good, I'll put a good trigger in it.

I'd post some pics of it, but I can't figure out how to resize the pictures on my new laptop. I hate technology!
