I found this for sale on-line. I found it funny that they named the cartridge .250-3000 due to the velocity. But then, they had to use an 87 grain bullet to get that speed. The sign says 100 grain bullet. I found it a bit funny.

I had one for a while and it was a better game stopper on mule deer and antelope than I would have expected. The 100 grain bullets did penetrate better but the deer didn't fall any faster. Nothing left my sight with either.
