Some confusion, while we have Supporting Memberships that come with a few perks and help support the site. You don't need to be a paid member to do almost every single thing here. It's not needed nor will ever be. It's mostly just a way to help out for those who can.

I fully understand that. My feeling now is that if more members financially supported the old Savage Forum, then maybe it would still be around. The old adage, "ya don't know what ya got till it's gone".

Another forum I started hanging around on was the 6ARC forum. Only participation fell of so bad I seldom go there anymore.

Now after investing the time, energy and soul into rebuilding a local shooting league I can't even imagine the effort required to run a forum!

Lots of work in the beginning but once we have members participating, it's worth the while. Keeping it up and consistently functional is another story. But we're glad members are joining. Hopefully the word goes out and we get them to join us.
