Hello fellow Savage fans. I’ve actually seen this on another Forum or two, as a Pinned or Sticky Thread. (Actually on an AK47/AKM Forum, no less.) I’m hoping it can be used here as well. The old Forum was QUITE against anything of this sort! Just as it was against anything political. Even in the general, “whatever” forum section, like this “Chit-Chat”. Just seemed to me, to be against everything our Constitution is about! Savage Shooters was the ONLY Gun Forum I’ve ever known to be in support of the 2nd Amendment, while simultaneously be CRAPPING on the 1st Amendment! Now try to figure that one out??🤷 Especially when you’d think the majority of Firearms/2A supporters are very likely, extremely Conservative. And Faith in Christ is close to 100% part of Conservative history, NOT Liberal! It always made me think there was some very Liberal & very Atheist thinking in “Command Center”, over there.

Anyway, I’m hoping the aspect of free speaking in THIS section is permissible here. Of course, granted rules of engagement are not violated. Obviously, the same that applies to every other section. (Showing one another Respect, no foul language, nothing pornographic, etc. We all know right & wrong behavior.) But as it is to THIS thread specifically, it’s simply about posting things you would like others to pray for you about.

It’s common fact, everyone runs into challenges, heartache, life changing events; both good & very bad. (I’m kind of an expert on that last one.🫤). But I whole heartedly believe in the power of prayer. And no, it’s not about “I need a bunch of money, please pray!”, and POOF! All the problems are gone with a prayer! No, it’s not like that at all. Prayer is a powerful, and needed tool to order to strengthen our walks with Christ & with fellow Brothers & Sisters in Him. This would simply be an on-going thread in which members who feel they need, or would like prayer for both BAD & GOOD circumstances in our lives. Remember to, that prayer of Thanksgiving is just as important as prayer for needs & challenges. So, I hope this can be a thing here going forward.

Allen? If not, I completely understand my friend. 🙂

I'll go.

We brought home our 5th this last February, and it's been hell, and putting a lot of strain on my marriage. Baby is sleeping poorly, mostly pissed off and crying when he's awake, and how to respond and survive has led to a lot of counterproductive conversations and failed attempts. We haven't been able to get out and have fellowship either, which is another hit because it's hard to even invite others to help support you when you're still in the trenches back at home.

While people caution against "praying for patience", often tongue-in-cheek, this one's basically the same boat.

I can't fix the problems, I can't really help alleviate the stress or make anything better, we just have to endure and make good choices until things change.

So if ya'll could pray for my wife and I to keep our hope on what's to come and what's promised rather than what we can achieve with our hands right now, to ensure the difficulties without becoming bitter or acrimonious towards each other in the midst of this difficulty, that would be appreciated.

Sending you and your wife my prayers. To keep your hopes up, for wisdom, resilience, and patience for the situation and for each other through this tough time. I pray thing get better soon for both of you.

Done.🙂
Praying The Lord sheds His grace on your family my friend.

My friends, my intention for this thread was not to pose as a debate about religion. It has nothing to do with religion. Religion is solely a man made idea, hence its many flaws. I made this thread for those of us who walk with Christ & understand how important prayer is, not only to help strengthen our relationship with The Lord, but also connect with & encourage one another in Him.

I’m just asking guys, if we could refrain from posting comments why religion is SO BAD or SO GREAT, and also from posting any memes, jokes, etc., going further. If I can impose on everyone to please respect that, I’d appreciate it.🙂

I pray for people like you, your wife and others. Prayers sent 🙏
