Happy to see a forum dedicated to Savage. I love my Savage rifles for the fact that they're of modular design and VERY easy to unscrew those rough mediocre factory barrels and replace with a quality prefit in just minutes right at home with a couple hand tools and a vise. I shoot an old 110FP that I have factory , Proof and Criterion barrels for. In 308W and 6BR. Also a M12 LRPV with 204R and 223R barrels. Both are consistently at half MOA or under. Great rifles that can hang with the high dollar rigs and considering what they cost, I think even better.
