That would be a nice scope for a revolver. The 1-6 power setting is just right. I have used the Burris 2-7 & 3-12 handgun scopes on revolvers. The 2-7 worked out really well. I didn't care for the 3-12 since I had to move my head around so much when changing the power setting. On my specialty pistols I use rifle scopes.
