I have a 4.27 stagger feed with accutrigger. One of the very last ones before going to the 4.4 center feed. I am having a problem with the rounds jumping up out of the mag well when feeding. The round jumps up and sometimes out of the action. It is just the round that is feeding. So you have to guide it into the chamber after it does this.
I have been mainly hand feeding it now. I sold this rifle to a friend about 12 years ago. But he never really shot it as it was just too heavy for him to get it to the range to shoot.. He is now almost 70 and does not shoot much of anything now. So now I got the rifle back. And it shoots very well just like it used to. I have it in a B&C Varmint/tactical stock. And a Shilen select match 26" varmint contour.
I don't remember it doing this before. Could it just be the feed lips on that box needs tweaked a little? It has the blind mag well. Or should I just get a single shot block for it? I have one in my 223 Axis and thats how I shoot that.
