My 99s

Never really cared for the Winchester or Marlin lever guns, but the Savage 1899/99 always felt "just right."
Had 4 at one point....

Clip-fed 99C in .308 with vintage Weatherby scope

99E in .243. Sold this one to my buddy in Hawaii so it could actually do some hunting.

An absolutely immaculate .308 99F I stumbled across a couple months ago.

Also had a .30-30 Takedown during Covid, but couldn't find a lick of ammo for it at the time. Sold it before I could shoot it....

The 99 has always been a robust lever action, and has a great following. A friend had one in 300 Savage, I got to shoot it a few times. It was a pretty accurate rifle for a lever action.
