I recently also tried Hornady 52 gr V-Max bullets and they also were accurate. Shot 6 5-round groups that averaged under 1/4 MOA at 100 yards. The Berger 55 gr # 22410s shoot just slightly better. Both were shot with Varget powder. H4895 also gets good results, but that is impossible to find, at least for me.
Don't be put off by the barrel twist numbers until you get some data.
I have a Savage 1:9 twist .223 that isn't supposed to stabilize bullets heavier than 75 grains.
In fact, it shot 75 gr ELD-Ms terribly so I believed the published stuff.
Then I found on the old Savage Shooters forum that someone shot 77 gr SMKs in his 1:9 twist Savage, so I tried them.
The 77 gr SMKs shot better than every other bullet I ever tried except the 73 Berger BTTs.
I measured the twist and found my barrel's twist was actually 1:8.75 so it was able to stabilize the 77 gr bullets.
I talked to a machinist and he explained that it is difficult set the speed on the reamer accurately enough to get a precise twist when rifling a barrel. Therefore, he always makes sure the twist is not slower than the spec he was trying to meet.
I haven't measured the twist in my 1:12 twist .22-250 yet, but I probably will when I get ready to try some 60 gr bullets.
