87B

[Hawg]

I have this old 87B. It only runs with CCI Mini Mags. It jams with everything else. I guess I really should dig into it to find out what the problem is. The revolver is my H&R pre 999 Sportsman made in 1935.

I have a Stevens model 15 single shot and a Savage model 6B semi-auto.

I suggest cleaning and lubing it good. Them older 22's shouldn't shoot a steady diet of high velocity. I run standard CCI velocity in my 87.

I fixed one for my buddy that had sheared off the charging handle. Don't know if that was related to a steady diet of HV ammo, but it would short-stroke with standard velocity.
It would also double occasionally....
