80 yo from the free state of Wyoming, trap/hunt and fish as long as the Lord will let me. Love the .17 WSM in my Savage for 80% of my trapping needs, the other 20% fall to my 220 AI Swift. (Pesky deer on my bird feeder)

Hi Bob.
It is good to have a new contributer. It seems you may be near Rawlins where I spent a few days after flipping my car on I-80 when I hit black ice in 1974. I was on my way from Kalifornia to N. Dakota for a job.

I-80 has been closed alot more these past 10 years. Already several times this year due to high winds and black ice. Some terrible chain reaction events. Glad you survived

A friend and I got caught in a blizzard on I-80 in Feb/March? 1973 and spent two very cold nights in the cab of a 1967 Ford stepside pickup. We were picked up by a semi heading east and spent a few days at Little America until it was our turn to get the truck towed and defrosted in a heated shop.

I still remember how warm the cab of that semi was.
