Just got back from a two-day fishing trip to Lake Erie for a walleye charter with my two brothers, a nephew and one friend. We limited out each day. Was a great time fishing and visiting with family.

The picture is Wednesday catch which is about an exact duplicate of Tuesday.
We were scheduled for an afternoon charter on Tuesday, but we received a call Monday night that they had an opening for Tuesday morning. Which turned out to be a good thing, as we entered the harbor it started to lightly rain and by the time we cleaned fish and got back it was pouring.

Looks like you had a great time and catch. Good timing you got out when it poured. Are you going back anytime soon?

I LOVE fishing for walleye!!! I was stationed at Minot ND for over four years and spent a lot of time fishing for walleye, both in ND and Canada. Great fighting and great eating!! I'm envious!!

This was a trip that my brothers and I have talked about for years. We finally pulled it off!

From Kenosha County Wisconsin to Port Clinton Ohio was almost 5.5hrs., for my brother coming from Pasadena MD it was just over 6.5hrs. . Well worth the trip.

The outfitter, Sea Breeze Charters also has a bunch of mobile homes they rent out. The one we had was 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. They also operate 30 boats!

Yes, I would do it again. Can't wait to actually cook some up.

Hope you get there in good weather again. Have fun and don't forget to share a post again. :)
