Thanks for having me, and greetings from the home the television and Philo Farnsworth, lovely Rigby, Idaho. I spent 20+ years in the Army before retiring and spending another 18 years in the wireless cable and broadband internet industry. Spent another 5 years turning wrenches followed by 3 as an RV tech. In 2018 I retired for real and have spent my years since fishing the streams of Idaho and expending ammo into the hillsides. I'm not a fanboy, I like almost everything although there are a few, I don't like as well as others.

I recently jumped back into rimfire as it's less expensive to shoot and I've found it to be a lot of fun as well. The two MK II's I picked up recently have helped with the fun part immensely. Have a good day and shoot safe!

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, I can't complain, I've got Yellowstone in my backyard, great fishing all around me, and if you're into motorcycles, there are some of the best rides found anywhere just around the corner.

I am just south of Rigby and work in Ucon. Might have to set up a range day if you'd ever be interested. Though, sometimes folks don't like having a crossover from digital to meatspace however, so no worries either way.

The Unified Sportsmens Club is a nice range, and my kids and I try to get out there a few times a month, but where do you go around here? We moved to this region late 2021 and are still figuring things out.

Well, howdy neighbor! I go out there as well, when the weathers nice. Nice facility and they've done a ton of upgrades over the last year or so. Lately I've been shooting at Guns N Gear on their indoor range, less walking back and forth and no wind or rain. My back doesn't like when I get feeling youthful. There's still a place or two where you can shoot the hillside for free. One is out Kepps Crossing off of Bone Road.

We'll have to figure out a time and meet up.

Idaho is a great place to live, there's so much to see and do. The real draw of Idaho is not just the great outdoors and what's available in the state, but what surrounds us. Where I live, I'm just 94 miles away from Yellowstone, two or three hours to our South, in Utah is Promontory Point where the golden spike was placed tying the country's railroads together, drive East for an hour and you're in Wyoming, and West is the Idaho National Laboratory and EBR1. Arco was the first city anywhere in the world to be powered by atomic energy. If you ride a motorcycle, Hiway 12 from Lolo to Lewiston has more twisties that run along rivers and through forest than should be allowed in one spot. Yeah, sorry I'm kind of a fan.

As for shooting, although we have ranges, both indoor and outdoor, there are still places where you can set up a target in the boonies and enjoy your own company for a day.
