Well, that is a matter of personal aesthetics preference. As is said, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”
I can tell you with all honesty, I truly love the way my Savage build looks. To me it’s the most attractive I’ve ever seen. Although I would never expect those who are more prone to wood stocks, to have the same opinion.

One thing, I although I prefer Aluminum Chassis, I can appreciate the look wood stocks. I still fondly remember my old Model 116 Weather Warrior with the Grey Laminate stock. Matched with the Stainless Barreled-Action, it was gorgeous!

And some years back when the 110 Classic was released, I was captivated by how it looked and came very close to grabbing one. Still a handsome rifle!

Not often we have a shooter replacing their Chassis for a stock. But glad you are happy with it. Keep Shootin’

Thank you for doing the homework and rounding up of all of those stock options. Savage is in good hands with a healthy aftermarket.
I still have several Savages in stocks but more than half have migrated into chassis or stocks with adjustments like the chassis systems offer. For prone competition I like laminated stocks with correct comb height & LOP built for prone. They are heavy but stable as a table. I would never think of shooting offhand with them but they serve a specific purpose.
I view the stock as the tool for fitting the actioned barrel to the shooter. I have never found a standard stock that can do it in different shooting positions. For me Prone needs shorter comb but longer LOP which is opposite for seated & standing. I have a couple chassis systems that allow me to adjust "the tool" to do it very well.

MDT seems to have reduced the number of models that fit Savage Actions. Most of their models are now for Remington and only a few chassis include Savage compatibility. Their tactical offerings include Savage listings, but I didn't do much of a review of those.
I have a new ACC Premier that has a cheek rest that is now adjustable front to back as well as up or down and it has a replaceable vertical grip instead of a slanted grip. The lateral cheek rest adjustment is helpful, if you use 4 stock extensions like I do.
I also have an older (discontinued) LSS that has a similar rear stock design but the cheek rest only is adjustable up or down, and has a slanted grip, basically the same as the Oryx.
Notice the difference in the mag wells.
(The LSS is shown with a 10-round AICS Mag and the others have 5-round AICS Mags.)
The ACC is heavier than the LSS by more than a pound due to a heavier front part of the stock and the removable rear stock mount and replaceable grip mount.
The LSS is basically an Oryx with slight changes to the rear stock. The Oryx is about 1/2 lb. heavier than the LSS.

I believe it’s a bit misleading. MDT has added so many different Chassis over the last few years. And they have stopped offering a couple. But, actually, they have the most available for Savage now, than at any other time in the past. They offer 10 different Chassis/Stocks for Savage. I certainly wouldn’t call that a few. LOL!

Oh, no.. I didn’t mean what you are saying is misleading. No, I meant what MDT has done in the the last few years is misleading, as far as adding so many models & also eliminating a couple. I apologize for being unclear.

There are Ten (10), models available for Savage. A couple are for the Short Action only. All models available for Savage are:

The XRS
The HNT 26
The ACC Premier
The Timber Core
The Worker LSS Gen3
The Competitor LSS Gen3
The Tactical LSS Gen3
Build Your Own LSS Gen3

The last four are simply different versions of the LSS Gen3, so technically it could be said there are Seven (7) different Chassis/Stocks. I’m not sure why you only see two(2) though.

As of today, the LSS and ACC for Savage SA are backordered and available in "10 weeks". Not exactly available, so technically only the Oryx is in stock and available for a Savage SA. I may have ordered the last ACC for a Savage SA that was available since it arrived 8 days ago.

The Oryx has been available for delivery for the last several years, and never went onto backorder status.
Last time I bought an LSS Gen 2, they soon became backordered and then disappeared from the available list.
I guess I was working on the basis of availability to order, not what is on the catalog list but that I couldn't order.

Yeah, a couple of them have that “Backordered-10week” listing. I never pay attention to that. I waited that long for the Mirage URL chassis I have because they are made to order. Shoot, we wait that long for a Barrel at times! LOL!

I have one that Choate makes. Very solid. Aluminum bedding block. Just a little heavy. Great for benchrest though.

All the MDT short action chassis I own have the slot for a right handed bolt throw.
I don't see any option on the MDT site that allows ordering a chassis with a slot for a left handed bolt throw.

I had an MDT TAC21 Chassis that fit BOTH the 4.40” & 4.27” Short Actions. The Oryx Chassis has the same feature, and IS available in Left Hand option as well.

I believe several of MDT’s Chassis have this feature of fitting both Short Actions. One of the reasons MDT is the leader in chassis.

There is no option I could find to order a left handed bolt option that I could find on the MDT site.
Maybe it is a special order option, or only supplied to companies.

My 6 MDT chassis, 4 Oryx, and one LSS and one ACC, have a slot on the right side of the aluminum chassis and not one the left side. There is no place for a left handed bolt to close.

Their other stocks may have that option, and I believe the Oryx was offered with a left handed version (and with a slot for operating a bottom bolt release).
I just didn't see that option to allow ordering it on their current web site.
But I could have missed some way to order it.

The normal web site has no way to select a left handed chassis.
BUT,
If you search for Left Handed MDT Chassis you get a separate page that lists 3 chassis that support left handed Savage actions.

I am not sure that the LSS-XL GEN2 is available any longer - I have A Gen2 LSS that I got on sale because it was a discontinued model after it had been replaced by the Gen3.

As of 1230 today, there are a few LH selections available (but not many Savages). There were lots more a month ago when I bought my LSS Gen 3 Competitor (this is a righty for my LA Savage 110/7mm RM). Many are back ordered. MDT must be busy selling chassis'.

Being a lefty has its challenges.... I have a few LH Savages: (2) Axis, a LH 12, and a LH 116 LA. Plus a Rem 700 and a CZ big bore.

FWIW, I fit tested my LH Savage 116/300WM in the right hand MDT LSS and it fit perfectly other than the bolt cut-out. I am toying with the idea of buying a right hand LSS Gen3 chassis and having a machinist buddy mill out the bolt cut-out for my lefty. I'm not worried at all about any structural integrity issues with it after looking at the plastic stock that Savage is perfectly happy with shipping thier rifles with. I will have to come up with a solution to fill in the blank hole on the right side. The bottom bolt release is the same on both of them - no issues there.

I am concerned with the weight of the rifle. The 7Mag barreled action weighs about 1.5 pounds more than the SS 300WM barreled action - and the MDT chassis with scope and can weighs in at 16 pounds. The 116 weighs in around 9 lbs in the Boyds stock with a smaller scope and no can.

**I would like to see a close up of am MDT Chassis for a right hand LSS G3 short hand chassis with an upper bolt release. I have a left hand SA model 12, that I think has the same bolt release mechanism as the right hand version. If so, I would also consider purchasing a right hand chassis for it and milling out the bolt "hole" for it if it would fit. The extra weight wouldn't bother me with that rifle.

Not sure what you are looking at CF, I go on MDT’s site, choose “Chassis” and firearm type (Savage). And they come right up. I’m not sure of your difficulty. Same as the other day when you kept insisting they have only “a couple available for Savage.” But again, there are at least 7. (10 by counting configurations.) Below are screen shots that have “Left Hand Version Available” in the lower part. (I circled in red.) I didn’t check them all, but the first three I looked at All have Left hand available. Anyway.
