Model 110 project rifle.

Have had this action for over 30 yrs and enjoyed every one of it's variations.
Today it sports an X-Caliber .308 26" 1-10 heavy ss barrel with an OSS suppressor attached. Jard trigger set to 3.5 oz. Set in an ORYX chassis. Scope is a Leupold MK5 HD 7-35. Having a ball trying different combinations of handloads from light to heavy. Whatta Hobby!

Yes, Sierra 110 gn hp Varminter. Have used these in 30-06 precision for decades and decided to try some in the .308. Next test will be with a bunch of better brass, Lapua that I turned and made as good as I can. Looks promising for my 100 yd 1/4" 10 dot challenge. Whatta Hobby!

Not really. My coyote rifle is a 5.7x28 AR-FiveSeven. Whatta Hobby!

I have had it for a long time. It is a pretty interesting caliber an can fill a void if given a chance. Whatta Hobby!

Back when I was young and a lot poorer, (Just out of the Army in 1973) I smoked a lot of Ground Hogs with an FN 30-06 with 125 Sierra pointed soft points over IMR 3031 powder. My first real varmint rifle was a Winchester 670 in 225 Winchester. What an improvement over the old 30-06.

I was as well, in my younger years. But I eventually came to the realization that I simply could not feed them all! And for me, having multiple firearms in the same cartridge was sorta redundant Although, I’m not a collector. And I do appreciate other’s collections.

Retirement has been a blast. Added another dozen or so since that insurance photo was taken. Have been concentrating more on precision bolt rifles as of late. Whatta Hobby!

One of my sons that lives in Maine has gotten into it but the rest of the family each have their own hobbies. Wife is a fused glass artist so she is pretty busy most of the time. Then she enjoys splitting wood for our furnace.Whatta Hobby!

Not really. I do get to take care of repairs on the kilns. Power company loves us with a couple 45 amp kilns and a bunch of smaller ones.

Yeah, those things are no joke! Custom knifemakers like myself use similar as Heat Treating Ovens. 220v controlled to 2300°F. They are something.
