New Savage 110 Bolt Knob replacement

Hello everyone
I Just picked up a New Savage 110 Core Predator in .204 (just released in 2026) for some Prairie Doggin'

I wanted to change out the bolt Knob .... to get better leverage and some length

1) Can the knob be replaced or do I have to replace the Bolt Handle as well ?

2) What is the Bolt Knob Thread Pitch ... I was thinking it was 5/16 x 24 ?

The knob can be replaced/changed out if you put on a threaded handle. There are several places to buy them. I like Glades Armory for mine. Quick and easy to install.

If you’re handy, you can make your own.
I started making them some years ago. This one is in 6Al4V Titanium.



But the ones from Glades are nice quality. I had one of their Aluminum knobs in the past.

I sent an email to Savage but they are closed until 7/13

I want to verify the 110 has a 5/16 x 24 thread

Glades Armory does have some nice bolt knobs. I have several myself. Also take a look at the Big Bertha bolt knobs sold by Anarchy Outdoors. They also have the same style but in a smaller version.

It does! ALL Rifles use 5/16-24. It’s the accepted threading across the board.

Honestly, I doubt the people at Savage will be able to even verify. I don’t recommend calling them with questions. They know very little.

Of course

Buy/install the handle and you can put/remove knobs of your liking.

I believe the new 110 Core Predator already comes with a threaded bolt handle, should just be able to screw on a new knob.

I was merely responding to the op in regards to someone that said "if" you put on a threaded handle, just pointing out it already has one.
