Nice to see a Savage forum again!

Good to see another 'savageshooter' find the new Savage site.
I hope you'll share your experiences with us again.

You might recognize some of the contributors to this site as members from the old site.
Welcome aboard.

100% agree! I said it already: Things aren’t right without a Savage Forum! Now, I was unfairly banned from Savage Shooters. All I did was help others, and post a lot. But leadership didn’t like that. I’ve been assured this is not the case here. Savage Shooters was about the only Forum I posted on. Being kicked off was upsetting. Especially when I saw people start making threads asking about where I was. I tried a couple other Forums, but only seldom. THIS is now, once again, basically the only forum I’m part of. Any other site I’m looking to post on, I’m really only trying to draw members here. I know at least one person from Calguns has joined here after I told him. And I’ll continue. I want to see this place grow.

There is a “newer” breed of Savage owners/builders now. All very DIY capable, and able to experiment some. Savage is not just “Grandpa’s old bolt action I was given”, anymore. They are well Aftermarket supported, Tuner guns. With places like Gun Shack supplying specific parts home builders could not get their hands on. (Thanks to the owner Lance, aided by yours truly!) We have access to both Top & Bottom Bolt Releases/Sears, Target Accutriggers, firing pin assemblies, and small parts like Cocking Sleeves & pins. This makes FFL Gunsmiths so bitter, as they feel they should be the only ones able to buy these parts. LOL! So make sure to give Lance your business!👍
