Old Savage project

This project resulted from a broken rifle sling in late 1980. The original stock was broken through the wrist. I ordered a full length semi finished from Rienhart Fajin. This is the result. It is a left hand 110 in .308. I have taken many deer with it since then. My son got it for a graduation present . I borrowed it back this year and was fortunate to take an 8 point buck.

@hdskip That is a very good looking rifle. I can’t remember ever seeing a full length Mannlicher style stock on a Savage.

Could you post a pic showing the nose cap?

Here's an update to original post.
I'm adding some detail photos of the ebony fore end tip, grip cap and the shotgun trigger bow that added a European flair as well as gave ample room for a gloved trigger finger. This was my first attempt at a complete stock all those 40ish years ago. This stock was bedded from action to end of barrel channel as well. The scope is a vintage Redfield 4x Widefield. The rifle has shot near 1" groups since beginning with a load of WW 748 and a Sierra 150gr game king bullet. Basically this is only load I've ever used in it. It works well so never needed fixing. It has provided a lot of venison to the freezer over these years. I'll have to say it's about my most favorite hunting rifle even though my son enjoys it now. BTW he took his first deer with it as well. Thank you for all the nice comments. Gary
