Push notifications

I suppose some people like them but I don't. Every time I log on I click disable push notifications, then select 'never' in the box. I went into my profile and deselcted every push option there is, yet, the next time I log in the push notification banner reappears at bottom of my screen. Why, if I select 'never', does it keep coming back?

Milsurps moved to this same forum platform and I have the exact same issue there.

I don't use the feature myself.

Do you log off and clear cache daily?
Click on it and you have choices. Click to never show it again/ Allow or block. Block makes the banner at the bottom go away. The other choices are to enable it or to ask at another time.

I've done that Alan, just did again and always log off after reading forum. Not that big a deal, just curious why after choosing the option never show again it came back.
