I'll pull the barreled action and see if there is any meat under there that would securely support a stud and bipod.
And if anyone is interested, the rifle's first shots put a .450 Bushmaster handload of Accurate 45-290K, 296 grains, sized .452 and powder coated, over less than a dozen grains of Unique into a ragged hole at 25 yards with a dead Burris scope that's going back for repair. I was just trying to see if the scope would track and it wouldn't. Chrono said avg 1,213 fps, SD 4.4. It fed this Keith-style bullet just fine, and oh so pleasant to shoot. That load out of a Blackhawk in .45 Colt would be considered a humdinger.
