any experience with scopes from Khyber Optics

So, in the course of my search for a scope for my latest rifle project, I recently came across scopes by a company by the name of Khyber Optics in a local FFL. What i saw in person was encouraging, but i want to see if anyone here has had any experience with them.

from what i understand they started up about a year ago, are based in Yanceyville NC (so relatively local to me), and offer a lifetime "You break it, We replace it" warranty. the scopes I handled Wednesday were surprisingly feature rich for the prices asked (as in $500 or less). So, it's rather tempting to give them a go.

Buy a scope from a reputable dealer. Looks like the same body style as an Arken EP5. At least Arken has a good reputation, I have 3 of them on precision 22's. The only bad thing about them is the weight. They are heavy toads!

What Tex said. I’m sure they are fairly good, but they aren’t going to be any better than any of the other new Gen Chinese scopes.

Go with the Arken SH4J. For under $330, this scope is really hard to beat! They are clear, tough & track very well.

They are sound quality scopes for the money. Matt Tibor on YouTube (TiborasaurusRex) has done extensive
testing with the Arken scopes. Both field use and operational excursion in North Dakota winter temps! Now he actually refers to himself as a German Glass Scope SCHNOB! But he is unbiased, and truthful in his testing & Reviews. And he has not found a fault with the Arken scopes. He even goes on to make point out the people who call the Arken scopes Chinese Junk, basically saying they are butthurt by how good these actually perform.

The EP5 for $499 is also a good deal.

Ok, i now have a specific questions related to these scopes

• just how much elevation adjustment do i need (or maybe "want" is a better term) if I'm wanting to shoot 1K occasionally?
• is there a point where extra range of elevation adjustment is a waste/excessive/simply not needed?
• are there other related issues i've missed?

looking at 5-25x56 FFP scopes:

the Vortex Venom , lists max adjustments of 85moa for Elevation & Windage, and most of it's contemporaries of the same or higher price-point seem to vary between 65-85moa on the same spec

and the unit from Khyber Optics specs at 120moa elevation 75moa windage.

so is there an advantage here or just hype on a spec sheet?
