Custom axis 2 pricing question

I have an axis 2 (compact barrel) that I customized last winter and now an acquaintance is interested in purchasing from me. It is chambered in 7mm-08, has a magpul hunter lite stock on, sig buckmasters 4-12x44 bdc scope, and an mcarbo trigger kit with the pull around 3/3.5 pounds. I haven’t really found anything comparable to base my price off of but I was thinking around 5-550? 300 for the rifle itself, 130 for the stock ( has never been used yet), and 100 for the scope. The barrel has around 100 rnds through it, could shoot a quarter at 100yds previously. I don’t trust ai to help with pricing (chat gpt says 700, google AI tells me the entire gun is worthless and worth 250-300)

Well, unfortunately, aftermarket parts don’t really increase the value price of a rifle. Saving except for the specific person who wants that specific accessorized rifle. However, most people want a basic rifle and choose their own aftermarket accoutrement. Honestly, I think you’re looking at maybe $450 TOPS! And that would be a very motivated buyer.

Your best bet is to put the rifle back to stock & sell it & the aftermarket parts separately.

Scopes add ZERO $$$ to the value of a firearm, unless they are high end scopes. The stock can increase the value, but you have to have a buyer that wants that exact stock.
I'm with Dave, put it back stock if you're wanting to sell it, and then try to sell the aftermarket stuff separately.

Exactly. High end, top tier scope? Sure. But even then, I’d sell the scope separate.

Sorry to sound gloomy Gus about it, but it’s just what it is. Of course, there’s nothing stopping you from asking whatever you want. It may happen that one in a million shopper comes across your sale & is the exact model & parts configuration THEY want! But more than likely your end up dropping the price every several days to every week it sits unsold

The sig buckmasters scope is 100.00 new. Not a bad scope at all. I have a few of them.

It actually happened that their was someone who had asked me specifically about it. I ended up just going through all my receipts of what I did and taking a bit off. Came out to around 530 all said and done. The guy looked at it and said my price seemed to low lol. I personally wanted to keep the scope but he asked for it so whatever no big deal.

Yeah I always felt it was comparable to my 150 dollar vortex. I like that sig includes flip up scope covers. I think more brands should do that
