This is interesting as it’s in the most popular barrel configuration and caliber at the time of production as the competitor Winchester 1894. Note the Rocky Mountain front sight and crescent rifle butt were common on that rifle as well. It’s interesting the caliber is marked .30-30, instead of .30 WCF, which was the typical nomenclature of the tile, perhaps to avoid drawing attention to Winchester, a competitor.
