You can swap springs for penny's. I buy large assortments. Saves a lot of money over buying kits. And for smaller diameter springs. Lighter flint springs work great.

I was tickled how my mini 14 and 30 triggers responded. The 14 has an average pull of 1lb 6 oz. And no take up. The 30 is at 1lb 12 oz. And a slight take up.

I did this setup for someone on a forum a couple years ago. Even added an over-travel stop.
I can say, this took a whole lot more than just springs. Problem with the Mini is the trigger has WAAAY too much Creep. This was a complete overhaul. I had to shorted the surface contact, stone polish & add a spacer. The overtravel stop was done after this video. It’s a screw threaded from the back.
